The July 2018 VTAC Gazette is now available from the Publications section of the VTAC website. The VTAC Gazette is published regularly during the application period and contains policy updates, reminders, and course amendments.
The Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) is the central office that administers the application and offer process for places in tertiary courses at university, TAFE and independent tertiary colleges in Victoria (and a few outside Victoria).
VTAC receives and forwards application information and supporting documentation to the course selection authorities at institutions.
After selection decisions have been made by the course authorities at institutions, VTAC sends offer letters to successful applicants on the institutions' behalf.
CourseSearch and the Prerequisite and Course Explorer will close while we apply updates for main round 2018-2019 applications. It will reopen by Wednesday 25 July.
In preparation for the release of 2019 course information next week, we have prepared a summary of changes to the display of course information as a result of the Higher Education Standards Panel requirements.
