All VTAC staff are now working remotely in compliance with the latest advice from government. After a successful remote working trial last week, we are confident that high-quality service delivery to applicants, schools, and tertiary institutions will continue during this period.
Contacting VTAC from a school
One important difference is that we are currently unable to accept phone calls via our main telephone number. Please continue to send enquiries via email to SchoolsLiaison@vtac.edu.au or use our temporary Schools Liaison telephone number to speak with a VTAC staff member: 0408 480 344. The Schools Liaison email address and phone number are for the use of school staff only and should not be given to students or parents. Students and parents can contact VTAC using the channels outlined on our website.
Online activities continue
Today’s scheduled webinar with the CEAV (“VTAC Updates and SEAS overview”) will proceed as scheduled. Registrations for this webinar remain open via the CEAV website.
As today is now the last day of the Victorian school term, we understand that some practitioners who had registered for the webinar will not be able to attend as planned. A recording of the webinar will be made available on the Careers Practitioners Website shortly after it is concluded.
Impacts on the application process
VTAC and tertiary institutions are in ongoing discussions about how COVID-19 disruptions will affect the tertiary application process including SEAS, recognising that the situation is rapidly changing. At this time we are not able to discuss any specific updates, however we will post these to the Careers Practitioners Blog as soon as they are announced.
We wish you a safe and restful term break, and look forward to working with you next term.
