COVID-19 and contacting VTAC by phone

The ongoing COVID-19 outbreak has already caused significant disruption to society and learning environments. VTAC is working to ensure that we can continue to provide a high-quality service to applicants, schools, and tertiary institutions throughout the coming months and an update in relation to business continuity plans has been published. This includes extensive preparation for remote working in the event that the VTAC offices are required to close. Part of this preparation includes a trial lockout day on Friday 20 March where all VTAC staff will work remotely to ensure that any system challenges are identified and can be rectified prior to a longer period of remote work becoming necessary. Phone enquiry services will not be available on this day, however email support remains available.

We understand that the impact of COVID-19 on schools and students is ongoing, and we are in discussion with tertiary institutions in relation to how this issue will affect the application process and SEAS. At this time we are not able to announce any specific updates, however these will be communicated via the Careers Practitioners Blog as soon as we are able to do so.
