After extensive discussion with institutions we have been able to extend the change of preference deadline for international early round by an extra day, so this will now close at 4pm, Saturday 15 December. This will provide international students with extra time to make any preference adjustments if needed after accessing their results at 7am, Friday 14 December. This round will now be referred to as December international round 1.
Additionally, all February international rounds will be moved earlier, into January after the existing Round 1 date of 8 January 2019. These earlier offer rounds will provide the opportunity for international applicants to receive further offers in January so that international students have more time to make visa, transport, and living arrangements which rely on course offers. Revised offer dates and change of preference dates will be published on the VTAC website shortly.

Finally, new international course applications will now be accepted until 5pm, Friday 22 January 2019. Late application fees will apply, so all international year 12 students considering tertiary study in Victoria are still strongly encouraged to submit a course application prior to the close of timely applications at 5pm, Thursday 28 September 2018.
All current Year 12 students must apply for courses through VTAC. Institutions will not accept direct applications from current Year 12 students, whether on-shore or off-shore.
Note: domestic applicants, dates, and processes are not affected by any of these changes. There are no changes to domestic offer round dates.
