News update: Higher Education Reform Package

Media reports indicate that the Higher Education Reform Package (containing the proposed changes to CSP eligibility for Australian permanent residents and New Zealand citizens) has not passed the Senate: http://www.smh.com.au/federal-politics/political-news/turnbull-governments-28-billion-university-funding-cuts-shot-down-by-the-senate-20171019-gz47yf.html

At this time there are no changes confirmed to CSP eligibility, however the newspaper article does mention the possibility of individual parts of the package being presented as separate bills. Please refer to Government websites such as Study Assist for official updates.
