Applications for SEAS have closed.

Applications for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) have closed and supporting documentation for SEAS is no longer being accepted. The application was available from 9am Monday 7 August and closed 5pm Tuesday October 10.

Are there other options?

Although there is no way to submit a SEAS application or SEAS documentation after the closing date, there are options. A number of institutions offer programs targeted at specific circumstances and individuals outside of SEAS. Go to the Other Schemes Outside SEAS page on the VTAC website for a list of these programs.

The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) offer their own special consideration provisions. The VCAA is the body in charge of curriculum in Victoria and the assessment of the latter years of secondary schooling. For further information regarding VCAA’s special provision policy visit their website

Monash University will accept a special consideration application after the SEAS deadline in very limited numbers and if the circumstances are extenuating. This application is generally for circumstances that have occurred after the SEAS applications have closed.
