As previously announced, 2015 was the final year of the printed VTAC Guide. All course information from this year onwards will be available online through CourseSearch, and through the new VTAC app. As a replacement for the printed policy information found in the front section of the VTAC Guide, we are pleased to announce VTACmag, a magazine-format publication by VTAC.

VTACmag will contain practical information about the VTAC process and preparing for study, in an engaging, friendly format suitable for Year 12 students and others considering tertiary study. Information will be clearly explained with the use of graphics and plain language, and there will also be feature articles of interest, such as interviews with prominent Victorians who complete Year 12 and further study in Victoria and a mentoring section where VTAC matches students with professionals.

There will be no course information in VTACmag, however each institution will have a dedicated page in the magazine with information about the institution and campuses.

VTACmag will be available from newsagents in late July with a recommended retail price of $7.95. There will also be an e-magazine version available at a lower price. Schools will receive three complimentary printed copies of VTACmag, and additional copies can be ordered from newsagents. We will offer guidance on how to order bulk copies of VTACmag closer to the publishing date.

Schools will continue to receive a copy of the ABC of Applying for every Year 12 student free of charge.
